BBQCHICKENROBOT

There are like a bajillion food trucks here in LA, and oddly enough, though they are conveniently inconvenient, they are just so darn popular.  There aren’t really any chairs (although crates are pretty cool), no bathrooms, and nobody waits on you, lines are ultra long, but of course no one goes there for any of that, it’s all about the food.  I’m way excited about Mandoline Grill, who will be rockin’ out tradition Vietnamese favs including some Crispy Spring Rolls, Chicken curry Banh Mi sandies, and Lemongrass Tofu Vermicelli Rice noodle bowls!  Last time I saw them, they were in like a box/stand you’d see at a farmers market food court.  I’m glad they’re doing the mobile thing.  They are unveiling from their recent launch pad at the Verdugo bar on Saturday Feb. 6th!
