Santa Barbara Glamp
Decided to glamp and see how that would work with my son. We set out to one of our favorite places, Santa Barbara. It’s a short drive considering LA’a traffic tendencies. We scoped out Lake Cachuma’s Yurt situation after lunch at the Santa Barbara Fish Market. The drive to Cachuma is amazing; you feel like you the driver in a car commercial. It’s beautiful, it’s wide open. The water at Cachuma was up, and the Yurt was beautiful. We went on a Sunday so the recreation area was mostly empty. That’s a pro-tip right there. It’s glamping at it’s finest. Space heater, 6 electrical outlets, tables in and outside, grill, fire pit, ample parking right in front, and a porta potty right out front for the quickness. The patios and balconies are perfect. I will definitely be back. They have a large Yurt that can fit a whole group of people. Can’t wait. We also did a quick stint in Solvang the next afternoon to just walk and chill. Shout out to Go Rumpl, The THX Co, and Rareform for all the gears!
