Just Saw Freelance Whales At The L Stop!

I really like the fact that these guys play in the subways and street corners, if you were lucky enough to catch the at the L stop, you’d totally knowhere I’m comin’ from. The Freelance Whales are a New York quintet with enough happy indie synth driven jams to make all your saddies go away for a day. It’s like sweet, sugary pop, with banjos and synths. That banjo and songs like Broken Horse, makes you think Sufjan, and everything else is like Postal Service-ish. Doesn’t matter how neo-emo it sounds, you and I still dig it. Stop frontin’ and get the album when it rolls in April! Check the tracks below fromdebut Weathervanes. Check the tour dates here.
