I’m cruisin’ through the SXSW madness lists and there are literally over 2000 bands playing there! It’s madness, we need to do an experiment where a fake band goes there, and gets a manager, PR and signed all in that 1 week. I think it’s do-able. More about this later. One rad band that came back to our radar is Miniature Tigers! These guys d00ds have received lots of props for their album Tell It To The Volcano and we are lookin’ forward to their forthcoming, Fortress, which will be heard somewhere near Summer time (good time). Chris Chu, lead singer of The Morning Benders, co-produced their new joint, and of course, Mini Tigers will be touring with TMB (I like acronymizing) around the U.S….lucky us! The sound is poppy, indie, catchy and nice, but the fire starter for me is their song writing. Check the tracks and dig it!
