We’re big fans of Ta-ku, and though that Ghost Loft track “Seconds” is already dope, it’s even better at the hands of Ta-ku. Dude’s too dope. TNGHT gets mad play. The 150k hits a day kind. Their EP is still bananas and their new track “Acrylics” is just as dope with some music box creeper bumps. Get all these kids dancing happy. The duo, Hudmo and Lunice, are going big kicking off with Coachella this weekend and next. Both are in their own right doing big things. Hudmo is producing for Kanye, and Lunice is droppin’ his new album hopefully sooner than we think. Keep your ear up for upcoming stuff. Bump it loud and tell your mom it’s for a science project. Fully influenced by my high school pals, I started listening to JEW back in the Clarity days and then I fell off after Futures. Never really gave Chase This Light and Invented a chance but hearing the latest single from their upcoming album “Damage,” sparked something from the days of old (the emo days). Not sure what it is exactly but the song is not bad and if I give it some more listens, I can really dig it. You love something so much that no matter what comes, you will support it. Hopefully the single is light and what’s to come is the meat. Meat matters. Stay tuned for June for the next Jimmy Eat World album!

FlyLo’s new joints coming out in October has a sweet new video directed by Kahlil Joseph. 3-4 tracks are sewn together for a this teaser short film. 30 seconds in, that haunting vocals and deep organ really set the tone. FlyLo changed my life!

Remember Smoosh? Yes those two little girls who somehow made it into your little indie heart. Now you remember. 8 years ago, they were just 10 and 12 years old with their debut She Like Electric circulating like a strange Olsen-twin-esque experiment that you still don’t quite understand. They are back in full swing as Chaos Chaos and are aiming to once again become the young princesses of indie music. They’ve toured with some of our favorite bands over the years and have definitely made their small foot prints. Their new EP is on it’s way with a kickstarter campaign to top it off. I’m surprised how small the amount is. I feel like they could have put it at $5,000 eazzy. Check out their youtube for some random behind the scenes stuff. From what I can hear and piece together in my brain, it’s gonna be a sweet EP!
